Inaction is the biggest crime – says Khatuna Shukakidze, a member of the business federation Women for Tomorrow. She represents the consulting company SMBG Service Group, where Khatuna heads the financial department.

SMBG has just recently entered the market. The group provides a variety of consulting services, including legal, auditing, accounting, project and human resource management.

After 20 years of extensive working experience she took the responsibility of managing the financial department at SMBG Service Group. In parallel, she works at two other companies and holds the positions of the deputy CFO and the business consultant. She begun her career as a office manager, then worked as an HR manager and as an Import manager. Today she is the founder of two companies: In addition to SMBG, she owns the export-import company Ellen Corporation +.

She is a specialist in informatics and English language. Khatuna has also completed a full course in finances and accounting.

She loves what she does. So, her future plans are related to the growth and development of her companies.

According to Khatuna, she has worked in men-dominated fields for years, she was in the minority and constantly had to fight to assert her opinion and establish herself.

„For years women’s desires and ambitions were hidden. Finally, the time has come to give the talent and new opportunities a wide path for changes and development. We have lots of instances how we, women, were able to change number of things with joint forces, so I can  confidently say  that by supporting each other we can change everything for the better”,- says Khatuna Shukakidze.

She sees her associates at the business federation Women for Tomorrow, and believes that the association will be a great platform for sharing her and the others experiences.
