“It is crucial to have the courage, desire to learn and belief that everything can be done with a huge effort. Don’t be afraid of challenges - they will turn into lessons tomorrow. And so you will get the best results with the best experience,” - says Rusudan Andghuladze, Director of Business Development at TechproDC.
TechproDC is a supplier of the information technology products - solutions and services in Transcaucasia and Central Asia. It is a regional leader in system integration, cyber security, data center hardware, newtork solutions and software, as well as IT consulting and outsourcing services.
In addition to her current work, Rusudan cooperates with the organization “Business In Heels”, which unites 600 000 employed women all around the world.
At the age of 18, she started her career with a two-months internship at the company producing "Borjomi". Though her job consisted of translating meetings and documents only, soon after she got involved in every significant process and the internship turned into full- fledged cooperation.
She was always keen on introducing technologies in businesses to ease the processes. That’s how she got into IT industry, where no two days are alike and where the pause isn’t accepted.
She is the team player - her achievements belong to the company and vice versa - this is her approach. She is proud that she participates in the public and private projects aiming at business automatisation, introducing cybersecurity and building IT infrastructure. Aslo, Rusudan is involved in attracting the new entrepreneurs to Georgia.
Failures are quite common on the path of success, so Rusudan recalls the times when she could not find enough courage to fight for introducing some decisions which seemed utopian for that time.
“Clearly, failure is the best teacher. Therefore the main goal is to learn something new each time. And, I try to do so” - says Rusudan.
Her advice to youth is not to separate working and studying from each other, since both are constant processes.
As for her plans, they are connected to the innovation and development of the course. The purpose of TechproDC is to attract as many leading tech companies towards Georgia as possible to cover all the specter of informational technologies.
She believes women have lots of managerial skills – no matter whether they are employed or not: many-sided thinking, long-term vision, intuition, and multitasking - are a good basis for them. So with the proper education women can have a huge impact on economics, business, social life.
The founder of TechproDC is an Azerbaijani woman Niger Hasanova, who always fights against stereotypes: she graduated from Azerbaijani State University faculty of mechanics and math - which wasn’t popular for women in Azerbaijan; She was a member of the chess team, the participant of many olympiads and championships. Her career also included managerial positions in the tourism and financial fields. Then the company - TechproDC - was founded, a great example of women’s success in the tech field.
“We share the values of the business federation Women for Tomorrow with Mrs. Niger. And we have a desire to be involved in women’s empowerment, especially in the direction of informational technologies in Georgia, Azrebaijan and in the countries of Central Asia, where gender equality and women involvement in social life is also challenging”- says Rusudan.
