Nina Kobakhidze is the Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Business Federation Women for Tomorrow. She has been holding this position since 2018 and represents the federation locally and internationally. Nina advocates for women’s economic empowerment and gender equality in the public and private sectors.
Beyond "Women for Tomorrow", she actively participates in the activities of the largest business association Business Association of Georgia. In 2023, she was elected as a member of the Supervisory Board - as a result, she is currently the only woman on the BAG board.
Nina Kobakhidze holds the top managerial position in a number of companies. Her primary areas of expertise mainly include finance, medicine, and insurance. She has been the chair of the supervisory board of Geo Hospitals since 2019. She is the partner, general director, and deputy chairman of the supervisory board of the insurance company Global Benefits Georgia, Global Benefits Group, – partner branch of the American insurance company in Georgia.
Nina Kobakhidze’s name is also connected to bringing the world’s third-largest broker, Willis Towers Watson to Georgia. Since 2011, Nino Kobakhidze has been among the several partners of this verified financial broker group.
Her business activities go beyond the borders of the country. She is the co-founder of the American-based law firm EK Law Office PLLC. Nina has been the business development director of the company located in New York since 2019. The law office offers various legal services, including assistance to immigrants arriving in America.
She also has experience in public service. Since 2014, Nina Kobakhidze has held the position of deputy chief of the administration of the Government of Georgia. The signature of the association agreement with the EU, which has crucial significance for Georgia, is related to the same time frame. Association agenda and its implementation process, visa liberalization—these are the core topics she worked on in the public sector.
With her active involvement, the structural reforms for effective public administration, the activation of the international education center, the establishment of the Solidarity Fund, and other student-related social projects stood out. Before the administration of the Government of Georgia, she served as the head of the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Nina Kobakhidze has a master's degree in law, business administration, and management. In 2021, she improved her professional qualifications at Harvard Business School in disruptive strategy. She is constantly on the move and has new interests. Nina is actively involved in local and international projects.
